*1 Viscosity range is recommended based on the suction hoses and pump capacity. As fluids heat or cool, their viscosity will change. Please ensure that the fluid viscosity is in the working range of the unit. Fluid must be checked to determine that viscosity is not to exceed 220 cSt. For fluids with higher viscosity, please consult Behringer for application assistance.
*2 Max operating temperature is dependant upon the standard nitrile (Buna) seals. Other seal materials are available for different operating temperatures and fluid types. Please consult Behringer for proper application of seal materials. Please also note that temperature will affect the viscosity of the fluid.

Filtration Information |
In order to properly condition fluid in your reservoir, we recommend turning the reservoir over approx. 7 times to ensure that all the fluid has been passed through the filter once. To achieve this, you can use 1 the following formula to determine how long to run the filter cart.
Reservoir Size x 7 |
= Service Time (Minutes) |
Flow Rate (10 GPM) |
For a 100 gallon reservoir, the formula would be:
100 gallons x 7 |
= 70 Minutes |
10 GPM |
Using this formula achieves single-pass filtration. If you want to condition fluid further, you can multiply the service time by the number of passes you would like to achieve. For example, for 2-pass filtration you would multiply 70 minutes x 2 and that yields a 140
minute run-time for 2-pass filtration on a 100 gallon reservoir.
Notes:
1. 7- time reservoir turnover is as recommended by Noria Corporation
